October Updates

The school year is moving quickly. I can not believe the 1st quarter is almost over. So far this year the 8th grade has been learning about the atmosphere, and now we are talking about weather in the troposphere (the layer of atmosphere closest to the Earth). The 7th grade classes are busy learning about plants. We are going to be working on growing seeds starting next week and we will be measuring and charting the growth of various seed types. Both classes will be taking their 2nd test in the next week as well. Everyone has been working very hard and I am so pleased with their attitudes and their progress. Enjoy the autumn weather, it is a wonderful time of the year!
